Biography
Emily McDonald is a trained actor and improviser who has performed on stages across the country as well as in commercials and independent films. Recent films include Tacoville: Love Starts Here and Brunch!She also entertained audiences with her singing, dancing and acting in Human Resources the Musical.
Emily’s training includes Hideout Theatre, ColdTowne Theater and teachers such as Amber Ruffin, Rich Talarico, and Rebecca Drysdale. She has also trained with The Actor’s School, Mona Lee Fultz, Nick Stevenson, and Camera Left.
Emily has appeared in many improv shows such as All You Need is Love, Story to the Death, and Your Redneck Family and in the Out of Bounds Comedy Fest and the Hartford Comedy Fest. She also has performed in educational improv shows for schools with Move Your Tale Improv and in comedy troupes such as My Secret Friend.
Emily loves to dance, travel, play piano, write songs to perform on the ukulele, and write sketch comedy. She enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors with her family.
